Peterborough plant picks package

29 July 1998

Peterborough Laundry Service, a new contract laundry, chose Warner Howard to supply and maintain all its commercial laundry equipment.

The laundry brings together the experience of David Fitch, who has spent his entire career in the textile care sector, and Pauline Goose, who runs Well Laid Table, a linen hire company.

Peterborough Laundry Service has already secured several ‘prestigious’ contracts. Warner Howard was involved from the start of the venture, advising on the equipment package and the siting of machines to ensure an efficient workflow.

Commissioned

Warner Howard also commissioned the equipment, trained the staff and continues to provide ongoing maintenance of the equipment with a ‘swift-service’ response from its nationwide service network, which consists of over 100 engineers.

Warner Howard specified Primus washers, Cissell tumble dryers, large Danube ironers and a Silc finishing table.

Warner Howard equipment is available either through a lease purchase deal, together with an ongoing maintenance contract, as chosen by Peterborough Laundry Service or, alternatively, through outright purchase or on rental.

Warner Howard funds its own rental programme, whereby regular fixed inflation-proof payments cover equipment and comprehensive service support.
