NORTH AMERICA
In a statement released this week, the Association for Linen Management (ALM) has announced the 2020 ALM Educational Conference, IMPACT, will be a hybrid event, dovetailing in-person delegates and online delegate participation.

The statement announced: We at the ALM recognise that the coronavirus pandemic has affected all of us on multiple levels. Some of us are comfortable with traveling, while others are unable or unwilling to do so.

To best provide our members and other professionals in the textile care services industry with the education and networking expected from the 2020 ALM Educational Conference, IMPACT, we are excited to announce it will be a hybrid event this year! This means we will offer the event both as a live event in Colorado Springs and virtually 2-4 November 2020. Because so many conferences and meetings in the textile care industry have been cancelled due to the pandemic, we consider it our proud duty to provide this opportunity to share information, thoughts, and best practices as we all find new ways to move forward through these times.

We want to assure any attendees who choose to participate in person, that we will follow current guidance and recommendations to provide an educational and networking experience with additional safety measures for their comfort. For those who prefer not to travel, we are working to create a virtual experience that allows attendees to fully benefit from the safety of their home or office.

For those not previously registered, you may now register online. ALM staff will contact current registrants to update their attendance preference.

Details will be updated at they become available on the IMPACT website, ALMnet.org/IMPACT.
