UK/Italy: AMA Universal, the Italian drycleaning machine manufacturer has appointed Eastbourne-based CMS (Sales) as exclusive distributor for the UK and Channel Islands.
CMS has long experience as a field service engineer, originally dealing with photographic equipment but in recent years expanding to servicing and installing drycleaning equipment. It works with companies such as Safeway and Minit.
Sales company
It has established CMS (Sales) as a separate company headed by director Andy Denyer with Steve Gould as project manager. Mr Denyer told LCN that his company would be working closely with AMA over the next few months to put the sales side in place. "We realise there is a lot of work to do to re-establish the AMA brand and we'll back that 100%."
Service and spares
CMS (GB), headed by director Adrian Teulon, has been appointed as authorised service and spares parts supplier. It will carry a comprehensive stock of AMA spare parts.
Through its Bolsover call centre it can offer a nationwide team of skilled drycleaning engineers, co-ordinated by a dedicated dryclean helpline which also offers support to customers through a network of technical specialists.
On call
This helpline will operate six days a week. The company says it is dedicated to customer satisfaction. This, combined with its high standard of engineering and flexibility, have all proved pivotal in its success and growth.
