The American Dryer Corporation has upgraded dryers in its 25lb to 75lb range. Named V-line (for versatility), the dryers are convertible both in their heat source and the drying action.
The dryers can be adapted from gas to electric or steam, for example, and a simple conversion switches the tumbler from non-reversing to reversing.
V-line models sized from 25lb to 50lb are compact enough to fit through a 36in doorway (this also applies to standard 75lb dryer), To help routine maintenance, lint drawers are standard on AD50V, AD758V and AD75V models.
