Steve Anderton of the Laundry & Drycleaning Technology Centre took over as president of The Midlands Launderers and Cleaners Club on 27 March.
He was welcomed to the post by immediate past president Duncan Myttion of Berendsen UK who congratulated Anderton on his new role.
The event was attended by several companies including Berendsen UK, Christeyns UK, Ecolab, Jensen, Johnson Apparelmaster, Johnson Stalbridge, Wader, City Linen, Sherry Textiles, Rexodan, LTC & DTC, Isa Lea Group and Midland Linen Services.
Club secretary Jeffrey Yap said the event was one of the largest and best-attended changeovers.
