The Angelica linen, uniform and facility services chain’s laundries in San Fernando, California and Holly Hill, Florida, are the latest to have earned Textile Rental Services Association’s Hygienically Clean Healthcare certification. The certification reflects its commitment to best management practices (BMPs) in laundering as verified by TRSA inspection and its capability to produce hygienically clean textiles as quantified by ongoing microbial testing.

Angelica now has 18 TRSA Hygienically Clean Healthcare certified facilities, the most of any laundry chain in the US. The other certified facilities are in Austin, Texas; Batavia, New York; Chicago, Illinois; Colton, California; Columbia, South Carolina; Durham, North Carolina; Fresno, California; Henderson, Nevada, Lorain, Ohio; Memphis and Ooltewah, Tennessee; Phoenix, Arizona; Pittsburg, California; Rockmart, Georgia; Safety Harbor, Florida; and Worcester, Massachusetts. Angelica is in the process of certifying its remaining laundries by the end of 2017.

“Congratulations to Angelica on their certifications,” said Joseph Ricci, TRSA president and CEO. “This achievement proves their ongoing commitment to infection prevention and that their laundry facilities take every step possible to prevent human illness.”
