CleanCloud is introducing what is says is an industry first to the drycleaning and laundry world: contactless orders. With this new offering, the thousands of drycleaners and laundries that use CleanCloud worldwide are now able to give their customers a contactless experience, including curbside pickup and real-time check in.
Customers can now simply create their order in CleanCloud’s iOS or Android app, select when they are dropping off the order and hand their garments to the store, either via drop-shoot or across the counter. When customers arrive to pick up their cleaned clothes they can check-in via the app which instantly prompts the store to bring the laundry to their car.
“The drycleaning and laundry industry was already shifting very fast to meet with changing customer expectations” says David Griffith-Jones, co-founder and CTO of the company. “With the challenge of Covid-19 and this new feature, we have just fast-forwarded the industry by approximately 5 years” he continues.
CleanCloud is known for providing point of Ssales and pickup and delivery solutions to drycleaners and laundry services in more than 70 countries. It services the entire market, ranging from small family-owned operators all the way through to the largest drycleaning chains in the world.
