Büfa Cleaning Systems, the Germany-based chemicals manufacturer, has signed a multi-year licensing agreement with Agaia, Inc, the US-based producer of the patented Evolve cleaning technology.
Evolve is described as a natural, non-toxic "green" cleaning system, which is claimed to outperform petroleum-based detergents and degreasers. It can be used in several sectors including commercial laundry.
The agreement gives Büfa exclusive rights to manufacture and distribute the patented system in several European several countries and it will also manufacture and supply Evolve products to Agaia for its business in the EU.
Agaia Inc's Evolve Laundry Complete 203L is the first industrial and institutional laundry detergent to be accredited under the Green Seal certification scheme in the USA.
