The Carbon Trust is an independent, expert partner of leading organisations around the world, helping them contribute to and benefit from a more sustainable future through carbon reduction, resource efficiency strategies and commercialising low carbon technologies.

Elis (formerly known as Berendsen), the UK textile rental and laundry organisation, was one of the first four organisations to achieve the Carbon Trust Standard for Water, helping to pilot the methodology. The company receives independent certification to show it is taking action to measure, manage and reduce water use year-on-year.
