Carrington Textiles makes its first appearance at Techtextil in Shanghai, Asia’s leading biennial trade fair for modern fabrics and textile technologies, which takes place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, on 4-6 September.
Taking advantage of China’s rapid market growth and the region’s demand for advanced fabrics, Carrington will showcase several innovative fabrics that meet the needs of multiple industries including Alba ESD, Hudson 200, Undara and its Stretch range – which was ‘Highly Recommended' in the Best Fabrics and Fibre category at the UK 2018 Professional Clothing Awards.
One of the largest producers of workwear fabrics in the UK, Carrington currently exports to more than 81 countries worldwide with over 60% of its products going to new markets. Its agent and distribution network reaches Europe and Asia – and includes a dedicated warehouse in Shenzhen where Carrington holds 3 million metres of fabric for distribution to customers in the region.
The warehouse in Shenzhen (pictured) has been developed to support Carrington’s ambitious plans for regional growth and is supported by an office in Hong Kong, which has been in operation since 2014.
