Continental Girbau has added a 190-pound capacity model, the EH190 Washer-Extractor, to its E-Series soft-mount washer lineup. In addition, Girbau Industrial – one of three brands of Continental Girbau – has introduced a 190-pound capacity HS6085 Washer-Extractor to its HS-Series soft-mount washer lineup.
The new EH190 rounds out the E-Series soft-mount lineup, which includes 20-, 30-, 40-, 60, 80-, 90-, 130-, 190-, and 255-pound capacity models, said 
Joel Jorgensen, Continental vice president of sales. “The EH190 bridges a capacity gap in our lineup of soft-mount washers,” he said. “It’s a robust washer that brings the ultimate in programmability, performance and efficiency to the market.”
Like all E-Series washers, the EH190 features a Multi Directional Springs system that absorbs vibrations and noise. This eliminates the need for ground anchoring. While hard-mount washers require approximately 18 inches of clearance between installed machines, E-Series soft-mount washers only require a half inch.
E-Series Washers, and the EH190 specifically, are said to reach higher extract speeds when compared to most hard-mount washers on the market. The EH190 offers high-speed extract reaching up to 386 G-force.
The EH190 features Inteli Control, which offers 20 pre-programmed and 79 modifiable cycles. Via the Inteli, operators gain complete control over every variable of the wash process, including water temperature by degree, five levels of mechanical action, water levels, chemical injection, bath cool-down by degree and extract speed.
Continental said that its E-Series Washers use approximately .82 gallons of water per laundry pound, depending on the model. A water recycling system reuses prewash and wash water, and is said to reduce consumption by up to 50% over machines without similar systems.
Girbau Industrial provides industrial laundry products to North American clients, including large-capacity washer-extractors and drying tumblers, high-volume flatwork ironers, continuous batch tunnel washing systems, presses, feeders, folders, stackers conveyor systems and related system machinery.
Its new HS6085 rounds out the HS-Series soft-mount lineup, which includes 130-, 190-, and 255-pound capacity models, according to Seth Willer, Girbau Industrial national sales manager. “The HS6085 is a high-performance, highly programmable washer that fills a capacity gap in our soft-mount lineup.”
