The Duke of York's Royal Military School has chosen Miele Professional to equip the full on-premise laundry that was installed during the school's refurbishment.
The school was originally established to educate children from military families but it now takes applications from any student from 11 - 18, that wants to board while studying for GCSEs and A Levels.
To give boarding house staff more time to look after the students by freeing them from laundry duties, the school installed a large central laundry, when it planned a substantial rebuild.
Miele Professional dealer Solent Laundry Solutions supplied the equipment and ensured that the laundry was fully installed and operational by the start of term.
The school laundry has four washers - one, 32kg (PW6321), two, 16kg (PW6167) and one, 8kg ( PWT6089), four tumble dryers covering the same capacities PT8807, PT8407, PT7189, and one HM2140 rotary ironer.
