Dyfed Cleaning Services is sold out of administration

Dyfed Cleaning Services has been sold to Dyfed Laundry Services Limited, part of Swansea-based Solo Service Group, for an undisclosed sum.

The Port Talbot based laundry company entered administration in January. Business rescue and recovery specialist Begbies Traynor handled the administration and the business, which consists of a laundry, three retail launderettes and a distribution centre, was kept open during the 14 week period. The sale was completed on Tuesday 12 May.

The administrators said that by securing a buyer for the whole of the Dyfed Cleaning Services business, they had saved 57 jobs as well as allowing a very well known, local independent business to continue to provide a quality service to customers in South and West Wales and further afield.
