EUROPE

The European Textile Services Association (ETSA) held its 2015 conference on 11 and 12 June in Vienna and the event looked at ways of increasing demand and market share.
Last year ETSA published a Deloite study that showed that textile services only achieved 30% coverage in Europe and in his opening speech, ETSA chairman Juha Laurio said that comprehensive change was needed if textile service companies were to achieve greater success.
More than 130 delegates attended and the biennial event brought together members from across Europe as well as visitors from the USA. In all 23 companies, five national associations and a research institute were represented.
