HJ Weir, the flatwork handling technology specialists, announced that the company has achieved certification from the British Assessment Bureau for the prestigious ISO 9001(2015) accreditation. Managing director Ross Weir announced the ISO 9001 accreditation at the Society of Hospital Linen Service and Laundry Managers conference and exhibition that takes place on 2 and 3 May at the Tankersley Manor Hotel, Barnsley.
“As one of the few remaining UK manufacturers of laundry equipment, we continue to grow from strength to strength,” said Ross Weir. “This is a stamp to showcase our UK manufacturing and also to show the excellence with the systems and products we produce. It reinforces our team’s commitment to quality and standards in the UK.
“For my father, chairman and myself, as MD of HJ Weir, it makes us incredibly proud for our staff and ensures that customers can be confident that they are always buying a product made to last, and that the brand is synonymous with quality which we intend to continue for many years to come.”
