The Society of Hospital Linen Service and Laundry Managers has announced two special training events to be held in Oxford this spring.

The first is a one-day training event on linen services for in-house and contracted-out laundry services, which takes place on Wednesday 19 April, 2017 at The New Jurys Inn Hotel, Godstow Road, Oxford (pictured).

The course is designed to assist those with responsibility for linen, who may not have direct responsibility for the laundering. It gives a brief outline of all aspects of the linen service procurement cycle and covers, in detail, those areas where checks are required, not only to satisfy due diligence but to ensure a robust reporting of information as may be required by CQC inspections. A certificate of attendance will be issued to all delegates who attend.

The cost of attending the day is £125.00 and overnight accommodation is available at the venue hotel for those wishing to stay over.

On the following day, on Thursday 20 April, the Society will hold its annual conference and exhibition 2017 at The New Jurys Inn Hotel in Oxford.

Aimed at NHS and commercial laundry and linen services professionals, the one-day training forum includes a variety of informative papers on topical subjects, which exhibitors are welcome to attend and take part in. Full delegate registration is £125, with accommodation available at extra cost. Full details can be found at the Society’s website.
