Open to all manufacturers in the area, the Made in Central & East England Awards recognise and reward the cream of manufacturing companies in the region. This year, an expert judging panel assembled by Insider magazine announced Ideal Manufacturing as the winner of the innovation award at a special ceremony held at The Barns Hotel, Bedford.
The judges felt that Ideal’s strong innovative product development and the fact that it works closely with customers has helped create some unique offerings.
For more than seven years Insider has been committed to recognising and rewarding many of the unsung manufacturing businesses around the UK for their excellence, innovation and quality.
Regional Made in… events now take part in all regions of England and Wales, from the South West to the North East and everywhere in between, including Northern Ireland.
Throughout the last 12 months Insider has held regional award ceremonies which culminate in the national final – Made in the UK Awards – that took place in Liverpool as part of the 2016 International Festival for Business in June.
