Interclean Amsterdam: Here, there and everywhere

10 July 2020

INTERNATIONAL
Interclean in Amsterdam in November is breaking new ground as it offers online as well as in person attendance in an effort to tempt visitors to the event as the world comes to terms with living with Covid-19 post lockdown.

Interclean has extended the physical event, taking place from 3-6 November at RAI Amsterdam to a combination of online and in person visiting making it possible for everyone to join in, taking in mind global government and company restrictions on traveling and large gatherings.

Online and onsite educational sessions will complement each other and are available for everybody throughout the day long with the possibility to (virtually) visit companies, plan meetings with whomsoever you want to meet and socialise with your peers.

In addition to the regular knowledge programme onsite, attendees will be able to follow the interactive sessions live online in which they can ask questions directly to the speakers.

Ensuring safety during the event
RAI Amsterdam is ready to organise Interclean Amsterdam in a safe and responsible manner. Robert Stelling, exhibition manager, explaieds; "We have every confidence that we are able to proactively and effectively address all Covid-19-related risks at the show. We are fully prepared to bring people together safely and let them experience again the power of connections in both the physical as well as the virtual world.

The current challenge has only made us more committed in fulfilling our role as the meeting place for hygiene professionals, through building bridges for successful cooperation, and by providing a platform for sharing of expertise across the global industry. We firmly believe that this is even more important as organisations worldwide are looking to build consensus on how to tackle outbreaks like Covid-19. Thus, Interclean Amsterdam can provide an important impetus for the global economy at a time when it is much needed in view of global health issues.”

Laundry suppliers at the show are represented by a cache of dosing system suppliers, see below, and EcoCert Group will also be there. EcoCert Group, a world leader in organic farming certification, draws on an international network with subsidiaries active in over 80 countries. The lack of a sufficiently strict standard in the detergents’ sector is an issue that EcoCert Greenlife  chose to respond to by creating in 2006 a standard covering detergents containing ingredients from natural/organic origin, free from petrochemical surfactants and without phosphates. Today, more than 2100 cleaning products are EcoCert certified.
