MD Laundry Machines, manufacturer of Kent industrial drying and finishing equipment, is looking for new owners.
The proposed company changes are due to the imminent retirement of the directors. MD’s output includes tunnel finishers, garment conveyor systems, tumble dryers and dust mat rolling machines.
“Our equipment is installed in most of the major laundries in the UK and Ireland and also in many other areas of the world. It is thanks to the combination of faithful customers and our duty to supply reliable equipment that has given us 40 years of successful trading.
“We are in Kendal in Cumbria, eight miles from Lake Windermere, which is where we have our manufacturing facility. MD is self contained in that over 90% of the manufacturing is in-house. Our policy has always been to manufacture reliable equipment,” said director Dennis Mitchell.
