The fourth Indonesia International Clean & Laundry Exhibition will take place at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran from 23 - 25 March 2017.
Held for the first time in 2014, the event has grown and organiser PT Media Artha Sentosa said that by the time last month's third show closed, more than 70% exhibitors are confirmed to return for the 2017 show.
Over 110 exhibitors from 15 countries took part in the third exhibition held on 7 - 9 April 2016, which attracted more than 5,500 trade buyers from 20 countries.
This year is going to bring plenty of exciting developments in the Southeast Asia region following the roll out of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), said project director Teddy Halim. The establishment of AEC is a major milestone in the regional economic integration agenda in ASEAN, offering opportunities in the form of a huge market of US$2.6 trillion and over 622 million people. With this comes both opportunity and challenge, said Halim. "Nations in this region need to be competitive, creative and innovative in all trades, including the cleaning and laundry sectors," he said. "More efficient and innovative products are expected, more skills and expertise are in demand to keep the sectors dynamic and growing."
