USA/INTERNATIONAL
In the wake of Hurricane Ida, Milnor is swift to reassure its customers that the manufacturing facility and its personnel are in good shape having sustained minor damage in the onslaught.

The company told LCNi: “Following Hurricane Ida, which made landfall in south east Louisiana on Sunday, 29 August, we are grateful to report that Milnor facilities are in good shape. Our factory sustained very minor damage, including a few fences knocked down.

“We initiated our business continuity plan on Monday, 30 August. Our computer systems, e-mail and phone system have been operational during the storm and continue to operate at this time. While we are still waiting on water and electricity to return to service, we anticipate parts order fulfilment to resume within the next two days.

“We are actively working with logistics companies to resume shipments of orders. In the meantime, our industry-leading dealer network across North America and the world is in full operation providing technical support and has inventory of spare parts.”

The company also confirmed it will not be attending Texcare International in Frankfurt in November due to continuing Covid-19 infections around the world and associated travel restrictions. “We believe attendance will be down considerably.  Exhibiting requires a significant investment and with expected low attendance, it was difficult to justify the investment necessary this year.” Milnor went on to wish Messe Frankfurt and Texcare all the best and said it looked forward to participating next time.
