The organisers of Texcare Asia 2017 report “tremendous feedback” from many key industry players as well as professional textile care associations from around the world. Over 160 international exhibitors are expected for Texcare Asia 2017, which will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, China on 27 – 29 September 2017.

A biennial event organised by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) and China Light Industry Machinery Association, the 2015 show attracted 153 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions and set a new record with 10,267 visitors from 54 countries and regions, a 20% increase from the 2013 event.

Ahead of Texcare Asia 2017, numerous key players have confirmed their spaces in the 20,000 sqm exhibition area. These include Böwe, Castic-SMP, Chuandao, Girbau, Jensen, Kannegiesser, Oasis, Sailstar, Sealion, Voss and Weishi.

Richard Li, general manager of Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) said: “I am happy to learn the fair has received tremendous feedback from many key industry players. It also reflected the unparalleled position of the fair in the fast-developing textile care industry in Asia. Moving to its ninth edition, the fair will continue to be a one-stop sourcing and networking platform for the Asian community.” The textile care and cleaning industry in Asia is undergoing a major transformation towards high operational efficiency and energy-saving, due to the boost of labour costs and the raised awareness of environmental protection. As such, the use of automated equipment and new technology is imperative.

Ms Milena Vogt, assistant to director of project engineering from Herbert Kannegiesser of Germany added: “Utilisation of automated process technologies and hygiene aspects are of great importance to the professional laundry companies in Asia. We appreciate the growing interests in automated laundry solutions in recent years.”
