The Bardusch laundry in Mosonmagyaro´va´r is one of the first laundries in Hungary to be certified in accordance with the RAL-GZ 992/3 hygiene regulations relating to linen from food processing businesses.
Ludger v. Schoenebeck, MD of the German Certification Association for Professional Textile Services presented the RAL certificate to Attila Oravecz, managing director of Bardusch Be´rtexti´lia, and his team during an official event.
Dr. Livia Kokas Palicska, institute director of Innovatext Textile Engineering and Testing Institute and Valeria Kira´ly, director of the Hungarian Association for Textile Cleaning, also praised for the company's performance and the successful audit.
The laundry is sited right in the three-country triangle region of Hungary - Austria – Slovakia, explained Attila Oravecz. Since it was founded in 2002, it has established itself in all three countries with its comprehensive laundry services. In addition to textiles from food processing businesses, the range of services also includes workwear and a mat service. Around four tonnes of laundry are washed and maintained by approximately 70 employees each day.
Bardusch regularly invests in the Hungarian subsidiary. In 2015, the site opened a new 1,700 square metre hall for its laundry service. There is a waste-water treatment plant nearby, which ensures the environmentally compatible treatment of industrial waste water, while at the site itself, the boiler house has optimised energy consumption by converting from steam to gas operation.
“We serve customers in an area between Budapest, Vienna and Bratislava, and we pay particular attention to the quality of our service,” said Attila Oravecz. “The provision of hygienic textiles is top priority for our company. With the RAL certificates for professional textile services, we can show our customers that they can rely on our performance on a day-to-day basis.”
RAL-GZ 992 is described as a leading quality assurance system for industrial laundries. The Quality Certification Mark is awarded exclusively by the German Certification Association for Professional Textile Services in Bo¨nnigheim subject to the applicable test specifications.
