Manchester-based linen manufacturer and supplier Richard Haworth has been awarded the latest ISO 9001:2015 certification, the internationally recognised benchmark for quality. By achieving the ISO 9001 certification, Richard Haworth is able to demonstrate to customers and suppliers that the systems in place meet the high standards set out by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
To gain the ISO 9001 certification, the company demonstrated the dedication and commitment to meeting the needs of customers, operating efficient management processes and delivering consistent, good quality products and services. The evaluation process required the company to demonstrate that the internal quality management system and documentation meet the standards required to achieve the coveted accreditation.
In addition to the ISO accreditation, the company has a well-equipped on-site laboratory with three dedicated full time members of staff who have 50 years of combined experience in textile technology.
