Secure splicing of cotton laundry belts

Flexco (Flexible Steel Lacing Company), the leading international specialist for mechanical conveyor belt fastener systems, says that its latest Anker patch fasteners can bind cotton laundry belts and install wire hooks in a single step.

According to the company, conveyor belts made of cotton are often used in commercial laundries. They are joined mechanically, for example with wire hooks. Service engineers must first prepare the ends with glue. In a second step they press the wire hooks into the belt material.

Flexco says that its Anker patch fasteners in the 25 series make it possible to perform both operations in a single step, which can be completed in half a minute. This reduces downtimes considerably. More details can be found at the Flexco website.
