Vega Systems UK strengthens its team

As a result of significant rise in business over the past 12 months, Vega Systems UK has announced several new appointments as part of a medium term plan to grow the business. With the support of the Broadbent Group, parent company of Vega Systems UK, there are further plans to increase the service and support team in the coming months.

Wayne Kavanagh has been appointed as technical operations manager, to assist with all of the after-sales and engineering functions at Vega Systems UK and will be responsible for supporting continued growth in capital equipment sales and the service sectors. He has many years of experience in operational roles at a number of capital equipment suppliers as well as significant experience in management of service and support teams. His experience will be valuable in the support of UK operations, having an overview on all technical matters and providing a crucial link between Vega UK’s clients and the support teams at the Dutch and German headquarters.

Two additional field engineers have joined the ranks at the Broadbent Group to strengthen the team of regional laundry engineers. Both engineers join with the full range of electrical and mechanical skills required for the industrial laundry sector.

Octavita Hogas has several years’ experience in support of industrial laundry equipment. Based in the South, Octavita will strengthen support in London and the South of the UK.

Farran Backhouse completed multi-disciplined engineering training in the armed forces and has since had experience in a field service role on capital equipment with knowledge of PLC’s, control systems and drives. Based at Huddersfield, he will work on projects in the UK, Ireland and around the world for the Broadbent Group.
