Vision Support Services and WestPoint Home have announced a deal that brings Vision Support Services into the WestPoint Home group of companies. The acquisition strengthens the group by bringing together two market leading textile manufacturers.

Both companies have over 200 years history in the production and distribution of textiles and in a joint release, described the deal as “a very exciting time for both companies”.

WestPoint Home is headquartered in New York City with manufacturing and distribution facilities in the USA and overseas. In recent years, the hospitality market has become a focus for the group.

Vision Support Services is a market leader in the provision of quality textiles to the hospitality, retail and public bodies.

Both companies in their own right have ambitious growth plans, with footprints covering the globe.

The deal brings global scale in both the core retail and hospitality businesses. Complimentary strategic markets, shared values and shared ambitions will allow both companies to accelerate their growth plans. Increased purchasing power, an expanded supplier base and complimentary strategic assets covering the globe will strengthen the groups’ drive to lead the way.

Vision Support Services will continue to trade with its current supplier and customer bases. Key staff are retained and committed to deliver the ambitions of Vision Support Services. “By joining forces with WestPoint Home, we can effectively enhance our capability of servicing our customers in our key markets. Customers can rely on the same personal working relationships that they have had in the past, dealing with the same people delivering the same quality of work.”
