Xeros, the developer of polymer bead-based textile cleaning, has introduced its SM35 washer, a 35lb/16kg capacity machine ideal for drycleaners, smaller hotels, and spas where size and space is a consideration. The machine was unveiled at the HX The Hotel Experience show in New York and at Spa Life show in the UK during November.

Using the same patented polymer cleaning technology as the award-winning Xeros SMV90 commercial washer, the Xeros SM35 is said to reduce water consumption by up to 80%, and cut energy and detergent usage by up to 50%.

The machine benefits from the Xeros Sbeadycare laundry management program and features a soft mount design, colour touch screen programmable controller capable of multiple languages, high speed extraction and a large, easy-to-load drum.

“The Xeros SM35 is a direct response to our customers’ request for a smaller system with the same superior cleaning, water and energy-saving capabilities that Xeros has become known for,” said Joe Bazzinotti, general manager, senior vice president, Xeros.  “We now have a solution for customers where machine size has been a concern, and who want superior, gentle cleaning that is eco-friendly.”
