Xeros named as a top water saving technology

Xeros, the developer of polymer bead-based textile cleaning, has been named as a top water saving technology in a special report entitled “The Future of Water” published in December by the London Times.

The article – “Ten tech solutions to tap the world’s water supply” – highlights the development of a lower-water washing machine using Xeros’ polymer bead technology.

Other solution on the list include portable water treatment; biomimetics (water purification); desalination; a personal purification straw; affordable water pump; microbial fuel cell; fog harvesting; sucking water from the air; and harvesting atmospheric water.
