U.S. Dry Cleaning Corporation to acquire Honolulu company
31 October 2007

US Dry Cleaning Corp, the company that aims to build a nationwide drycleaning chain by acquisition, signed an agreement and plan of merger with Robinson Corp of Honolulu on 25 October.

Robinson Corp, which traded as Caesars Cleaners, has four stores and a central operation plant. Thurston John (Jack) Robinson owned and operated the brand since 1972 and is now retiring. Theresa Paulette, general manager for 18 years, will stay on to manage and expand the operation.

Together with the pending acquisition of California's leading drycleaning business, revenues (US$6.5million), this latest transaction is expected to bring US Dry Cleaning's annualised revenue run rate to more than US$18.7million.
