Harris, who lived in South Africa for 19years, will retain close links with the LTC&DTC team in the UK to exchange ideas on technical and training support.
The move follows the success of the one-day seminar on textiles which Harris gave around South Africa during April this year and which attracted several requests for further training and technical support.
