Cinet/WCL is looking for young professional executives for exchange programme

Cinet’s YEP (Young Executive Professionals) Exchange Programme will continue in 2021-2022 with new sessions and there is an added bonus that the Worshipful Company of Launderers will fund eight places for participating UK YEPs to Texcare International in Frankfurt in November.

YEP’s main goal is to exchange know-how and practical experience among young promising entrepreneurs aiming to develop new business cases in one of the defined new market areas.

The scheme is open to young entrepreneurs in Retail Textile Cleaning and/or Industrial Textile Services.

The scheme will revolve around :

·                     Frankfurt (Germany), around Texcare International – November 2021

·                     Atlanta (USA) around CleanShow – July 2022

·                     Final point: Milan (Italy), around ExpoDetergo – October 2022

 

The YEP programme is shaping as a successful programme with approximately 30 like-minded YEPs from around the world. The main goals are to profile sustainability as a driver for new business and develop vision, concepts and examples for new business models (RTC & ITS). Outstanding laundry start-ups from UK, The Netherlands, Italy, Canada, China, Greece, Spain, Middle East have already joined the programme.

The hybrid sessions which are free of charge will take this shape:

• Duration 8-10 hours (over two days)

• Three segments of 3 hours each

• Pitch your initiative

• PTC reputed experts sessions

• Guidance, practical cases, assignments and coaching from PTC experts

• Language: English

WCL Travelling Scholarships to Texcare International 2021
In the last YEP programme, pre-pandemic, event UK companies OxWash and Blanc participated with Blanc, a London multi-sited wetcleaning company, winning an award in one of the categories. Cinet is keen for UK businesses to participate in this year’s event. John Shonfeld, past Master of the Worshipful Company of Launderers writes: “Subject to Texcare International 2021 at Messe Frankfurt  going ahead in Novermber, the WCL intends to sponsor up to eight people to visit the show as part of the TextileServices Association (TSA)  group, which will include laundry visits and entrance to the exhibition. Frankfurt has excellent transport systems and beautiful riverside culture. We already have a number of applicants but you could still apply for an available place.”
