Girbau, the provider of comprehensive professional laundry solutions, has launched Mobile Laundry Mini, a transportable, adaptable plug & play self-service laundry designed specially to be operated at retail sites such as supermarkets and other establishments like petrol stations, hotels and campsites.
It takes about the same time to run a load of laundry with the Mobile Laundry Mini, about 40-50 minutes, as it does to do the weekly shopping at the supermarket.
“We're revolutionising the concept of laundry to create synergies between the laundry sector and a wide variety of establishments and businesses, from hotels and campsites to large events like festivals,” said company CEO Mercè Girbau. “Our goal is to create a unique solution in terms of adaptability and portability, and to do so with Girbau proprietary technology and machines to offer the best possible efficiency and quality.”
The portable laundry comes in container format that is no more than 3.5 metres long, designed especially for transport. Mobile Laundry Mini comes in four different models in different sizes depending on the number and type of washers and dryers clients want to include. They are:
- MINI 2+1 Closed (land transport model - 2.57 metres wide and 3 metres long).
- MINI 2+2 Closed (land transport model - 2.57 metres wide and 3.5 metres long).
- MINI 2+1 Open (maritime transport model - 2.46 metres wide and 3 metres long).
- MINI 2+2 Open (maritime transport model- 2.45 metres wide and 3.5 metres long).
Clients can adapt and personalise this machine to the containers used to suit their specific needs without having to design complex installations. All they have to do is plug the machines into a power socket and have a water hook-up and drain available.
