Kemco Systems acquires Water Resources

Kemco Systems advanced its leadership position in industrial wastewater treatment through the acquisition of the dissolved air flotation (DAF) company Water Resources, based in Auburn, Alabama.

The acquisition expands Kemco’s engineered wastewater treatment capabilities in the rapidly growing industrial markets. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Since 1991, Water Resources has been a leader in physical/chemical separation technologies to the industrial markets. With specific strengths in the food processing, industrial laundry and metal finishing industries, the company has earned its reputation as an innovator and leader among its clients.

Water Resources’ industry-leading DAF technology is a proven and effective process for treating a variety of industrial wastewater streams specifically targeting oils, greases and suspended solids.

“This acquisition allows us to better service our industrial clients with a more robust portfolio of treatment technologies for discharge compliance, product recovery and water reuse,” said Tom Vanden Heuvel, CEO of Kemco Systems.
