New dates for Cinet GBP Awards

Peter Wennekes, CEO and president of CINET, has announced the Global Best Practices Awards Program 2020 has been moved to 23-24 October 2020, following the rescheduling of Texcare International 2020 at Messe Frankfurt.

The GBPA event will take place  around Texcare International 2020.

Programme: Friday, October 23 The world’s best Retail Textile Cleaning and Industrial Textile Services companies will meet and network during the Meet & Greet gathering on 23 October at a venue to be announced.

17.30 – 20.00 Meet and Greet. Welcome Reception GBPA 2020

Programme: Saturday, 24 October: Bigger, better, best practices. After the first two successful editions (in 2016 and 2018) of the PTC Global Best Practices Awards, 150 officially nominated Retail Textile Cleaning (RTC), Franchise (RTC - B) and Industrial Textile Services (ITS) companies will be selected out of 450 nominations total to take part in the Global Best Practices Program 2020. On October 24th, the most outstanding companies will give a pitch presentation about their company profiles in front of the International Jury, consisting of some 25 experts from 20 countries. The Awards will be presented to the most sustainable and service oriented professional textile cleaning companies and industrial laundry/textile services companies with reference to standards in their own home country. The Awards emphasise the focus of our industry towards new sustainable business models and services to end-users and.

Morning 8.30 – 10.00 GLOBAL BEST PRACTICE AWARDS: PITCH PRESENTATIONS (ITS)

• Welcome and general introduction

• 20 Pitch Presentations by Industrial Textile Services (ITS) companies

Afternoon 12.00 – 14.00 GLOBAL BEST PRACTICE AWARDS: PITCH PRESENTATIONS (RTC)

• Welcome and general introduction
• Country introductions by country speakers
• 20-40 Pitch Presentation by Retail Textile Cleaning (RTC) companies
• Two categories: 1) Retail Textile Cleaning 2) Big Retail (Franchise)

Early evening 18.00 – 20.30 Official GBPA 2020 ceremony. Location: to be announced
• Welcome to international attendants by CINET president Peter Wennekes
• Flag Ceremony
• Special guest: How entrepreneurs in PTC can have massive impact on a better society
• Official ceremony; CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Award, Lifetime Award and Country Awards

The deadline for entries has been extended to 15 August. Textile care businesses can fill in their applications using the reply form for the Retail Textile Cleaning (RTC) companies and franchise companies (download here) or the reply form for the Industrial Textile Services companies (download here!). Once filled-in, the form will have to be submitted to CINET Secretariat (cinet@cinet-online.com).

FREE PR for the official nominees All  official nominees will benefit from FREE PR with a two-page profile with all the participants in the World of PTC (online Book 7). All participants will receive The World of PTC - Book 7 (digitally) that can be used as a source to generate new business ideas from other innovative laundries around the world.
