Despite delays in finalising the lease on its new Glasgow office it was business as usual for Stalbridge Linen. Service manager Steve McNally made sure the Scottish venture started on time by opening up his garage as a temporary storage space.

The solution was more practical than it might seem. Catering linen and chef’s whites are laundered at Stalbridge’s Dorset headquarters, transported to Glasgow and then distributed to the customers. The garage was close to overflowing a couple of times, but as Steve said “I knew I always had the house too!” Fortunately, the lease on the 1000sq ft industrial unit has now been finalised and the company moves in this month.
