The Worshipful Company of Launderers, in the light of the current Covid-19 situation has announced that its Travelling Scholarship scheme has been scrapped this year. Applications open in the autumn for next year’s event.
Applications are invited from members of the laundry industry who have had some experience and wish to gain further knowledge. The scheme, affords up and coming members of the industry the opportunity to visit industry locations within Europe to develop their industry knowledge and skills base. The grant is made to suitable applicants to cover air fare and accommodation cost as well as food, for three nights.
Previous hosts for scholarships have included Jensen UK, Girbau and Berendsen.
