Experts will be on hand to discuss laundry process monitoring strategies, solutions, techniques and tools to ensure operational excellence during unsafe times - and all of the time.

The webinar will focus on proprietary extraction techniques designed to recover and quantify the most accurate representation of bioburden load on laundry media:

  • On hard surfaces
  • In the air
  • On linen
  • In the water
  • On employee hands.

Relevant scenarios will be provided that demonstrate how newly available process-monitoring tools can be used to identify concerns and drive process improvements. This webinar is intended for healthcare laundry professionals and healthcare staff whose daily interactions regularly includes healthcare laundry; this includes relevant personnel who work in the areas of infection prevention and environmental services.

Webinar hosts will include a team of professionals who helped to develop the HLAC Laundry Processing Monitoring Toolkit (PMTK). HLAC is an independent credentialing body that inspects and accredits laundries processing textiles for hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare facilities.
