SPOT EXPANDS: New managing director of SPOT Business Systems EMEA Limited Tabish Aiman signs an international distributorship agreement for SPOT software and hardware products with Mark Jones of SPOT Business Systems LLC (left) and Mark Reynolds who will carry on with the company in a consultancy role

SPOT Business Systems EMEA Limited is a new company formed to take over the distribution of SPOT EPoS/ERP software and hardware in Europe, the Middle and Far East from Mark Reynolds Associates who have served the market sector for the last 23 years.

Mark Reynolds will transition his duties and responsibilities to new managing director, Tabish Aiman, and the existing SPOT support team during 2019 until his retirement later in the year.

Parent company in the USA, SPOT Business Systems LLC bought out its largest competitor, Compass Max, last year and this latest move is seen as part of the organisation’s growth strategy in the international market.

Tabish, who has been managing director of textile barcoding and RFID specialists, TexID, for the last four years said: “The product ranges and service philosophy of TexID and SPOT make us the ideal match. We have worked closely together for a long time and formally cementing that bond now makes perfect sense. The strength of our combined resources and the obvious economies of scale provide a sound platform for further expansion.”

Mark Reynolds added: “I’m really excited about the prospects for the new company. There are so many new products and services in the pipeline from SPOT over the next two years that a larger and more professional organisation structure is necessary to bring them to market - I am just so pleased to be part of that roll out. All the familiar names, faces and voices will remain the same but additional personnel will begin to make their mark as the year goes by.”
