Webinars to help businesses in the Covid-19 crisis – and beyond

20 April 2020

TheTextile Services Association (TSA) is inviting all independent laundries to share ideas and act as a sounding board for suggestions on how – either working individually or together – we come out the other side of the crisis. The web conference takes place 23 April at 11am.

David Steven explained how this came to pass. "At the last board meeting Guy Turvill (Swiss Laundry and board member) suggested the TSA co-ordinate a forum/webinar for the smaller members (and non-members, who may see value in the TSA and join in the future).

"With limited resources, it is acknowledged that the smaller laundries (with turnovers ranging from say £500k – to £15m) may be struggling the most. The aim is to offer support to launderers, share ideas and FAQs and act as a sounding board for suggestions on how, either working individually or together, we come out the other side.  I think the ramp up is going to be critical and may well be the most challenging part of the crisis.

"If you would like to participate, on Thursday at 11 am, let us know by emailing emma.andersson@tsa-uk.org and shyju.skariah@tsa-uk.org to receive an invitation to participate. Please also advise us of the two/three key issues you are facing and specifically wish to discuss."

The call is also open to supply partners who may wish to offer support to this sector. If we end up with too many, we will split the group and have a second call on Friday. For our first web conference of this scale, we think 20 should be the maximum.
