The commercial laundry industry has enormous potential to help the UK’s response to any future public health crisis, is the message of the statement given by the Textile Services Association (TSA) to the UK Government’s Covid 19 inquiry. Despite initial contact this time being made by the Government, the newly published statement also shows that there are important lessons to be learned from how the industry and its input was dismissed during the pandemic of 2020.
