Four years after the Büfa's last international dealer meeting in Barcelona, recently expanded HQ in Oldenburg last week hosted dealers once again.

Not only were European dealers were quick to accept the invitation, but also distributors from Japan, Mexica, Indonesia and Australia. More than 60 partners from over 40 different countries found their way to Oldenburg.

Guests were led on a factory tour to learn more about the state-of-the-art R&D laboratory, the fully automatic high rack warehouse and the brand-new technical centre. In the show room Büfa is able to conduct seminars and training for sustainable textile cleaning. During the conference there were many interesting topics on the agenda such as a deeper look at Sensene – a dry-cleaning solvent based on modified alcohol. Ideas on how to to conduct dealers’ own seminars and tools for modern online marketing were also part of the agenda. Practical demonstrations completed the first day.

The second day highlighted the benefits of ecological laundry and wetcleaning in combination with classic demonstrations. Büfa was one of the first companies that developed and approved an eco labelled washing process. With the application of those EU labelled products, only renewable, 100% biodegradable raw materials are used and non-mineral-oil based raw materials.

From sari to kimono and from soy oil to curry, there are so many challenges in our industry present and we have a solution for all of them."
