The organisation which went online in January 2000, claims to be one of the first to go on the web and says that at the time many federations within the industry had no web or email address. Looking for information on the web was not a common habit.

The redesign aims not only to give the site a new look, but also to make it easier to use and to develop extra features. The addition of French and German versions is one move in this direction as English is still not a fully international language. For example, Eastern Europe, says ÇINET, prefers German.

Stats on the web have been updated and expanded and this is one area the organisation plans to develop. It is also working on a history of drycleaning which will appear online in the near future.
