The research association, Satra,will open a fabric care advice shop on its stand where visitors can consult the association’s clothing and textile care specialists about technical issues related to laundering and drycleaning.
On the first day of the exhibition (Friday, June 15) textile technologist Mark Gamble and chemist Nick O’Brien will be on hand to advise on subjects from care labelling legislation to the correct use of bleaches.
On Saturday and Sunday, (June 16 and 17) Satra’s head of fabric care, Christine Richardson, will offer expert guidance on all aspects of drycleaning, from shrinkage and stain removal to solvent use.
