The coin-operated dispenser is a straightforward machine, that dispenses the powder directly into a cup, allowing launderette owners to use bulk supplies of detergent rather than individual boxes. It therefore cuts running costs,is easy to maintain and as it avoids the packaging involved in boxed detergents is claimed to be better for the environment.
