Parrisianne, one of the UK’s largest drycleaning machine distributors, will not participate in next year’s Clean UK exhibition at Wembley. Its technical director, Ian Parris, said that the board looked at the costs associated with exhibiting and decided it would prefer to invest in our customer support programme.

“Parrisianne is proud of its customer support service but not complacent. Some of the funds saved by not exhibiting at Clean UK will be used to achieve new standards of excellence in delivering after-sales service to our customers.

“We did not take the decision to be absent lightly. However, we feel that we have made the right decision, he said.” Parrisianne is the UK distributor of Union drycleaning machines and Ghidini finishing equipment.

However, Chameleon Events, the organisers of Clean UK, report that the show is making good progress and that it is already 80% sold out, with new names joining the exhibitor list daily. The exhibition, which is sponsored by SLEAT will take place from 15 – 17 June 2001 at the Wembley Conference Exhibition Centre. The event has been extended to three days to make it easier for visitors to make a space in their diary. Free tickets will be distributed from early next year.
