Laundry Resource Manager (LRM)

Job title:     Laundry Resource Manager (LRM)
Position Description
The LRM is accountable for maintaining and developing current customers, particularly for Washing Systems equipment, chemicals, and the related dosing levels and customer service. The LRM is responsible for developing good business relationships with all key personnel in their customer base and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. He/She is the customer's primary contact for all specific business issues. He/She installs and maintains industry related equipment on customers' premises.
The LRM must manage expenses by planning and executing an effective coverage plan.

Essential Functions:
Complete the monthly Five Star report for each nominated 5 star customer in their coverage.
  • Deliver and maintain appropriate levels of service, maintenance and communications with each customer in their coverage
  • Program Washing Systems chemical dosing equipment to interface with their customers washing equipment.
  • Lead the work of planning and executing new installations and/or conversions in their territory.
  • Maintain all company provided equipment in proper working condition
  • Operate within the assigned expense budget.
  • Promote and sell the full product line to all customers.
  • Collection of past due accounts receivable, where applicable.
  • Eliminate rush orders of products.
  • Submit all reports in a timely manner.
  • Develop a key sales prospect list, establish relationships and sell new customers.
  • Maintain appropriate sales coverage in their territory.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Ideally having excellent experience of managing people and co-ordinating a range of issues in a busy operational environment. The candidate will also be able to demonstrate a motivating management style, be able to make tough decisions, be a natural when it comes to solving problems and be ambitious with a real can do attitude. A knowledge of all Health & Safety legislation is also preferable, ideally IOSH qualified.
The post will be directly responsible for the management and direction of the entire plant in conjunction with the existing management team. An in-depth knowledge of production, engineering and customer service functions is desirable.
