Aearo manufactures and markets personal protection and energy absorbing products.
Julie Bushman, vice president and general manager of 3M Occupational Health & Environmental Safety Division, said the acquisition of Aearo would add hearing protection, eyewear and fall protection products to 3M's existing portfolio, which includes full-line of respiratory products.
