Described as the “next level” in Guild membership by president Adrian Redgate, members will be entitled to use a customer conciliation service, enjoy preferential credit and debit card rates, have unlimited access to legal, business, employment tax and PAYE advice, receive industry-specific insurance cover and receive “red alert “ email warnings of problem garments. The package also includes the benefits of Guild membership, which costs £68.
This latest initiative was unveiled at the annual joint industries conference, held by the Guild and the TSA at Slough Windsor Marriott Hotel on Saturday 5 March 2011.
Collaboration between the two professional textile care organisations has developed steadily, with a well-supported joint conference for the past nine years and a joint Scottish conference. The two have also successfully combined their secretariat services since 2007 and the agreement has just been renewed for a further three years.
