The award is a sign that the management systems introduced by business manager Bernard Flanagan and his team are paying off.
The laundry is one of the few remaining NHS laundries in the north west and 70% of its work comes from the NHS.
Commercial clients include Pontins holiday camp at Southport and around 100 hotels and businesses in the Mersyside area.
